Signs of Spring

As the warm sunny weather continues, a Brimstone butterfly was seen briefly in the garden this evening, as was a singing Chiffchaff. A bit later, my first Swallow of the year was at Little Haresfield, apparently resting after the exertions of it's long journey from Africa, and glowing in the orange evening sunlight (above).
